In the past, connecting the printer to the computer was really complicated. You had to connect the cable to a special port, make sure the drivers were configured correctly and pray that your operating system was in the mood to collaborate.
Nowadays, things have become much simpler. Whether you want to connect your printer directly to your computer or share it online, this guide will teach you how to do it in the most correct way
Place the printer near the computer. Make sure the cables are long enough to connect the two devices. If you connect the printer to a laptop, make sure that the shelf on which the printer rests is spacious enough to place the computer next to it during printing.
1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the PC.
2. If it still doesn't work, try running the printer troubleshooting tool.
3. If you still have problems, you may need a new printer driver.
4. Open Start, enter Devices and Printers, select the entry in the results list and select your printer. Then select Remove device at the top of the screen and reinstall the printer.
5. If Windows does not automatically find a new driver, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow the installation instructions.
